Am in awe of your website and allotment association. We are an Allotment Society in Merton London and have recently been asked if we wish to go down the self-management route mainly as a cost-cutting exercise from the council. The trouble is that we have a small membership of plotholders and within that small band is a much smaller band who are willing to do any organisation. Do you find that self-management is hard work for just a very few people or do you have a good community who all volunteer their spare time and efforts? I have downloaded a copy of your rules as a starting point for our own 'self-manangement' constitution.
